Topic: RE: Looking into a lower body lift in Tijuana

It's normal to experience swelling after surgery, which can sometimes obscure final results. Two weeks post-op is still very early for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) to settle completely. Have you spoken to your surgeon about your concerns? They can best advise you on what's typical for swelling and what your expected outcome should be. papa's games

Topic: Best plastic surgeon in Austin or surrounding areas?!?

Hello,

I'm looking for a mommy makeover in Austin or willing to travel to Houston or Dallas if needed. I've found some with great reviews but I have a complicated breast lift that I need since over had two previously. The tummy tuck would be an extended one and I would add some extra lipo.

Topic: Life, Liberty and being pursued by giant Yo Yo's

If you check my profile you will see I have been a member of this group for a decade or more. My weight yoyo'ed. Life happened. Before I knew it my weight had gone back to 407 LBS. I was 587 at my worst and 216 at my best. Since April 2023 to today June 24 I have clawed my way back to 272. My doctor has set a new compromise weight goal of 240 or less pounds. I am 6'3" and now in poor health. I look at my poor worn-out abused body and despite getting a little help every now and then I still have many folds of excess skin. The bariatric doctor I had in 2013 is currently in prison but that is off topic. My current doctor does not do any kind of skin removal. I am not the least bit concerned about having a scar line. Dr. Nowzardian in Houston (4 hour drive at least) is still taking patients despite his advanced age. Thing is my health insurance will cover bariatric surgery but not any kind of skin removal. I checked on healthcare.gov to see if there was any kind of supplemental insurance I could purchase and came up empty-handed. At this point I am thinking about calling Dr. Nowzardian again and seeing if anyone in their insurance department can give me any guidance. If anyone is aware of a surgeon in the Dallas area that does non cosmetic surgery for excess skin like Dr. Now in Houston let me know. If you have any guidance on how to deal with the insurance let me know. If you have a success story to motivate and encourage me never to yoyo again contact me. My body will NOT survive another yoyo.

Topic: Botox and hot baths?

Hello,

Just got my first round of botox yesterday! I love having extremely hot baths and wondering if I'll still be able too? I asked my injector yesterday and I didn't really clarify if it was just for 24 hours or for the entire duration of having botox. Help! Does anyone else still have hot baths/showers and their botox is fine?

Although I am not equipped to give medical advise or suggest surgeons, I can point you in the direction of Boston-area plastic surgeons who are experts in bariatric and weight loss procedures.

Dr. Luis Macias in mdr. He is a great surgeon. Does work that looks very natural. Works with all ethnicities very very well. Double board certified. I know this because I made him study his ass off while he was going for it. I have no personal relationship to him now but I do believe in his work.

The clarity and rationality with which you articulate your thoughts astounds me. It clarifies things more for me.

I am very impressed with the way you express your ideas clearly and logically. It makes it easier for me to understand.
