So glad you're doing well! Adhesives love me too. Dermabond is supposed to fall off in roughly two weeks, mine lasts for 5-6...
Today is the day I should be able to exercise again. But it's not. Since I'm still healing. Bah humbug. I have begun to question the feasibility of running a half marathon in March, thankfully I don't need to make the decision to downgrade until March!
But I'm doing really well! My wound separations are looking very shallow now and only a few spots are still a little oozy.
I've been able to walk up and down stairs with no problems. I de-surgified the bathroom and the entire house except for the lift recliner I borrowed from a friend - I'm returning it to her on the 13th. I can drive, I can put on underwear and socks all by myself, I can even bandage and garment myself if necessary. I've been cooking and doing laundry too. Woo!
So pretty much, at this point, the only thing I can't do is exercise, and I'm okay with that. For the moment.
I do still have swelling and bruising, plus a bit of glue that refuses to fall off. The glue thing is normal for me, apparently - adhesives REALLY love me.
My previous surgery areas are still doing well too. Some days my arms feel uncomfortable and my abdomen still feels like I've always just finished a bunch of crunches, but those are very minor discomforts. I am SUPER thrilled with everything!

Oh no - please call your surgeon about pain management! You should not be at pain 10!
Do you have someone to help you get up so that you can avoid falling? Do you have a lift recliner? Do you have access to a toilet riser?
Please be safe!!

Poor thing! I can't begin to imagine how much falling hurt so soon after surgery. I hope you heal fast!
Well, the lower body lift was better than anticipated. The inner thigh lift is a lot worse. I woke up in recovery feeling fine. Any movement at all sent my pain level through the roof. After I made it home I was only able to use the Go Girl to urinate. Thank goodness someone recommended it to me. I cried a few times the first night and evening. I was able to sleep better last night. I fell this morning trying to get up and the pain level was beyond a 10. I have zero appetite but am trying to keep up my protein intake for healing purposes. Please pray for uneventful speedy recovery. Thanks.
I do not have any drains. Legs are wrapped in ace bandage and u started my period today.
Travel light - take crappy clothes and leave them- all those old 'big' soft clothes are great for recovery. Don't bring anything back. Just yourself to worry about it enough. OK maybe a protein bar or shakes.

This is a reply from the other end of the size spectrum. I was 59 when I had the breast reconstruction and did not want to have another surgery in 15 years, as is required for implants. So I went with the 'reformed and as big as possible with fat transfer' - good bye saddlebags thighs. I went back the next year for some more fat transfer. I am happy with my perky-almost Cs.
When I looked into it 20 years ago (but did not go through with it then), the PS gave me implants to insert in a bra and wear at home so I see what different sizes would be like.
You might need another consult to be really comfortable.
I did need a second surgery because I had other issues, not just a regular breast - lift. Am happy with the result.

It is amazing how simple things like a shower can make such a big difference! I can't wait until I can take one tomorrow.
