I love his name! Our Ruthie always stretches out on my chest or belly. I was wondering how this would be post-surgery...I mean, I'm sure she'll still be on top of me, but I was wondering how I'd feel about it!
I had my drains removed after 3 weeks. They I got seroma and 2 drains had to be inserted again. It was not very painful but looked horrible when they had to insert a tube inside my belly. Keep it as long as you need. Wear compression garments. You are doing great.

You look wonderful. The drain must be uncomfortable, and I know it is frustrating. Betcha it'll be out very soon. Hang in there!
What a sweetie and so cute! They really are good for the soul!
