Hi all- It's been a while since I've posted. I'm having brachioplasty surgery next week.

What do I need to get? One of those arm grabber things? Front zip bra? any other special garments?

How do you lift your arms on pillows? - just regular pillows stacked?

Special creams for scarring/

I will have help the first 24 hrs after surgery but will be alone for 24 hrs. after. Will that be ok?

Also- any advice would be most appreciated.

I really like the surgical gel sheets hospitals use ( but you can buy at medical supply ) for minimizing scarring . They're expensive but you can cut them into strips and make them go a lot further . Each stays effective for several days .

I got several very small compression suits from Morena to help everything merge together post op and wore them EVERY day and nite literally for about eight weeks ( I'd wash and dry one and wear the other ) I think that compression ( and patience) really helped get top notch results .
