Hi everyone,

I had a consult with a plastic surgeon regarding having a panniculectomy.

I noticed the dates in this forum are outdated.

Has anyone had one recently? How was recover?

Thanks,

Lisa

I had this surgery last year so immediately after the surgery, you can expect to experience some pain, swelling, and bruising around the surgical site. Your surgeon may prescribe pain medication to help manage any discomfort. You may also need to wear compression garments to help reduce swelling and support the healing process.

I had surgery 6 months ago, luckily everything went well, the first days after surgery I was really in pain and discomfort, especially after the anesthesia wore off. But everything is fine when you follow the doctor's instructions exactly enneagram test

Painkillers may be recommended by your surgeon to help you cope with any discomfort. Compression clothing may also be necessary to aid in the healing process and lessen edema. basket random

The surgeon would assess your overall health, weight, and whether you have achieved a stable weight for at least 6 months to a year, as this is often necessary to ensure optimal results. Xeno Executor Official
