Post-BL mammography
Hi folks! I had PS almost a year ago (5/18/18) with a non-augmented breast lift (mastopexy) and an extended abdominoplasty. When my PS explained the BL, he said that he removed the extra skin and there was nothing left but breast tissue (no fat).
I had my first mammogram post-PS and a call back for more testing. I also just got the letter explaining the diagnosis and it says that the breast tissue is too dense to be evaluated with a mammogram. Anyone have this post-BL or have any idea what it means?
Thanks for your thoughts.

My surgeon warned me that Mammograms could come back atypical due to scar tissue and that an ultrasound follow up would likely be needed. I just turned 36 and am low-risk for BC so I haven't ever had one, but I do remember being told that.

I have to have ultrasounds now, but they always come back normal.
