Reducing abdominal swelling?

I did get a smaller size and the nurse suggested sticking a wash cloth over the swollen area to add more pressure. I may have to get a even smaller size but my swelling is in the lower abdomen and most of the compression is above that...

Yes, I am drinking about a gallon of fluids a day and getting 130-150g of protein.

I saw the PS yesterday and he said that the lower belly may swell with more activity (exercise) for a good while.

HW: 248+, SW (RNY: 2/28/17): 244, GW (10/17): 125; LW: 115; 45# regain (19-20); CW: 135.6; new goal: 135; Plastics: Ext mastopexy, Ext abdominoplasty-5/18/2018; diagnosed w/ gastroparesis 11/20.

That is the reality. Even though the majority of swelling goes down in a month, it is amazing how long it takes for it to totally go down.
