Age and a LBL?

Thanks for your response. The recovery does sound brutal, and I know that surgery has more risks than many procedures have, and she is a factor. I would dearly love to have very improved thighs, but I guess I'll have to wait and see what the docs say about my risk v. potential gain when I have my consults.

I was 57 when I had my LBL. So worth it. I agree with Laura, for the best results go with someone who has extensive experience with people with massive weight loss. I always say the quality and quantity of our skin is not the same.

Thanks for your reply. I will absolutely choose a surgeon who specializes in helping those who have lost massive amounts of weight. I'll have to see how I look once I reach goal, hopefully things won't be too bad, but I know some surgery will be important to have. I'll know more later this year!
