HW: 248+, SW (RNY: 2/28/17): 244, GW (10/17): 125; LW: 115; 45# regain (19-20); CW: 135.6; new goal: 135; Plastics: Ext mastopexy, Ext abdominoplasty-5/18/2018; diagnosed w/ gastroparesis 11/20.
check www.realself.com, too. Lots of patient reviews there - and many have posted pictures.
The breasts were the easiest recovery. I did 5 consults. 3 specializing in WLS patients and 2 local but highly regarded. There were huge differences in prices that's why I kept on going. The last 2 were in the range I was thinking. Obviously I chose Dr Michaels and thought it was worth the travel. All the consults were an education and I absolutely realized I wanted someone who specializes. I always say the quantity and quality of our skin is different.

It took me a LONG time to finally pick a surgeon. I did a ton of research. The most important factors for me were finding someone that had really good reviews from people I "knew" from here and other online support groups and getting more than one proceedure done in the same surgery safely.
I'd recommend getting several consulations and talking with other patients. Just make sure you are REALLY comfortable with your decision.
