What did you pay?

I saw pics you posted .... you look great!!!! I have a consultation set with Dr M for April.... unfortunately I may have to cancel as an investment fell through that we were banking on. Plus my daughter is in 11th grade and helping with college is first priority. I am still taking a vacation to D.C. So we shall see....

Thanks yes that is what I was thinking too... but will decide by Mid to end of March. Appt not until mid April so will be plenty time to cancel if need be.
Wondering if not doing for a year if DR M rather I do consultation later. I also could Skype later.... Leah had said an option when I made the appt. but since we were going to D.C. For family trip and knew he was in the area might as well go. Real Estate investment fell through which would mean a loan and rather wait as other financisl obligations soon down the pike.
I have never been to D.C. But my 8th grade daughter class is going in May for a couple nights to see monuments, national mall, museums but she gets upset when on long noisy bus rides ... too much loud noise she says. Plus does not like idea of sharing a bed with someone! She is a neat, clean fanatic. Loves watching Monk the detective and we tease her she is like him! Not all kids going ....optional and about $600 trip. So we will take our own trip with her and recreate the itinerary the school will take during Spring Break. My oldest daughter (16- now in 11th) went with her class when she was in 8th grade and excited to show us around! My husband went when he was in middle school too! We are staying in a boutique hotel in Georgetown. That allows dogs! So she is not terrorized by the cats at home!! We will be there a week. Excited!
I am more excited to see the quaint neighborhood and go to the antique and vintage shops! More then the monuments! My husband wants to go to the White House and we are awaiting date. Not Trump fans so should be interesting. I doubt we would see him! If we do, he says we play ....don't see you and keep our mouths shut! My husband and my girls love history.
Any good restaurants you recommend?
Try any of the three Jose Andres restaurants downtown. They are all small plates places. One is Spanish (Jaleo), one is Mexican and one is Eastern Mediterranean (Zaytinya). I'm not sure of the name of the 3rd, Gwen might know. I've been to the other two and they are fantastic.
Also, if you're in Georgetown make sure to stop at Georgetown Cupcakes. Oh my! As far as the shops, I hope you bring lots of spending money or like to window shop. I tried on an $1,100 outfit in one of their boutiques!

The receptionist at Dr. Michael's mentioned that cup cake place.... the family will love it. I get bad RH and on the wagon these days so will not ! Can't slip I am too close to being back on the saddle!
i will look up the restaurants. I wonder if the Mexican is good? Might be best with the girls. Hard to find decent Mexican Restaurants in general.
We found a Russian restaurant that was in Georgetown online that looked interesting that we thought might go without the girls one night called Mari vanna.
i am a shopper and so are my girls! History might go out the window! That would be a shame for my husband ! I can't let that happen! I already told him not going to hollocaust museum way too depressing... I will stay back at the hotel with the dog! And sneak out shopping ( I was thinking lol!). He found a spy and mystery museum ... that sounded more interesting!!
I took a look at the menus for the Spanish vs Mexican and the Spanish had a lot more low carb options. The Mexican had a lot of flour/corn tortillas and those are things I have trouble staying away from if I'm presented with them.

For what it's worth, you should be able to declare reconstructive surgery on your taxes as the IRS allows for repair after disfigurement due to disease and obesity is classified as a disease.
So that allow for recouping some of the costs.
