I'm a little over 3 weeks post LBL with auto-augmentation and BL with fat transfer. I'm so happy with my results and I've been assured I have several more weeks of fine tuning before the real result is complete. My incisions look fantastic and in the places where the glue has come off, they are pink and only slightly firm. I'm actively using Biocornium scar cream on those areas. The pain at this point is just muscle soreness. I am taking 1/2 a valium every other night before bed because normally around the 48-hour mark without it I start to have a lot of tightness in my abdominal muscles and glutes. My new butt does not love hard surfaces and I get really achy if I sit for a long time (like on the 14-hour car ride I just did this past Sunday!).

The swelling really started to abate in week 3 and everything seems to be balancing out. I still am swollen in the evenings if I am up and moving a lot during the day. I'm really looking forward to 4 weeks so I can maybe wear the compression garment fewer hours per day and 6 weeks so I can start to slowly work out again.

As far as my breasts, they also look fantastic and it's amazing that a bra is now optional! He fat transferred 30cc's into one breast and 120cc's into the other and the side that got more fat seems to be a tiny, tiny bit smaller than the other. But, I don't think anyone but me would notice that.

I uploaded photos of my tummy (you can see them on my profile if you're friends with me).

Erin,

When I had my post mastectomy reconstruction they transplanted globules of fat along with the supporting lymph and blood supplies from my belly. These were micro surgical transplants so the total surgery was around 13 hours. I had to stay in the hospital for a week while they monitored me hourly for blood flow and tissue health. Of course, that was the very first fat to be reabsorbed post WLS and I'm now totally flat. Was this how yours was done or did they move the fat from a liposuction type tool?

My body doesn't seem to tolerate implants - I tried twice and both times they were encapsulated so my own tissue seems to be the only real solution. I'd love to find a potential solution and if this could work maybe I shouldn't go all the way to my goal weight so I will still have a few fat donation sites! If history is any indicator, my outer hips should be a great option because I have always had some extra padding there no matter how thin I've been :(

In this case, the fat was removed from the back side of the tissue that was removed from my abdomen. I have a lean build so she didn't have a lot of other places to take it from. Then it was injected into my breasts. He said about 70-80% sticks around.
