money for plastics
Hello, I am truly wondering how people afford plastic surgery. I have about $20,000 worth of plastics I am wanting and that is the price in Mexico.
I am getting out of debt this year and next year I am saving my tax return and other monies and hope that I can save half of that. I also have care credit however, the interest rate is 24%
Thank you,
Tammy

I think it depends on your personal situation and credit. I funded a large portion of mine from cash and the other portion from a short-term personal loan. I have good credit and got a decent interest rate and it will be paid off quickly.

I had to prioritize what I really care about... so I ended up just getting a 360 LBL with a fleur de liz and BL. Legs and arms are still baggy, but my torso is awesome! Definitely worth it!

I went to one of the top plastic surgeons in the state, and it was just under $18,000. They had a 6 month no interest financing package, and I did that.

When I started my reconstructive surgeries, I had no debt aside from my mortgage and lots and lots of room on low interest credit cards and my home equity line of credit. I also had a fair amount in savings as I have automatic monthly transfers set up to savings that I then forget about. My mom was also kind enough to give me gift of about 10-15% of the total cost.
So.. savings, debt, and a lovely gift from my mom.
I'll be paying off the debt for most all of 2018 probably, but it was worth every penny.

I took out a loan against my 401k, so now I'm paying myself back. Absolutely worth it for the results I've received.

For my tummy tuck I used CareCredit/2 year/No Interest and paid it back in 7 months. Using CareCredit again, same deal for my BL and Mons fix on 3/2/18(and going to try to pay off soonest, if able).
