Drains should come out today

I had my LBL on 10/26/17. I stayed 2 nights in the hospital due to nausea, vomiting, and low blood pressure. I could not stand up without almost passing out and getting nauseated.

My first f/u appointment, which was 5 days after surgery went well. I have 4 drains. Hopefully they will come out today. I did not have the muscle repair as expected, therefore, the pain was not bad at all. The pain I have is coming from the drain insertion site. I'm sure it will not be pleasant when they are removed, especially after being in for so long.

Everything looks great. Better than I expected. Next up is inner thigh lift and breast lift.

Drains are easy to remove. They take out the stitch, take a deep breath then its out. I found so much relief to get them out . I had one for three weeks. After my TT I could not wait to get them out. But after had swell hell and seromas. After the next surgery I was more more patient to get them out with better results.

I am also curious! Just lucky?

I thought I could escape it since I'm 34 and never been pregnant but alas, that was not the case.

Best of luck to you!! I had one of my drains removed at 2 weeks (and really mostly because I lost the stitch and it was starting to snake out), but the last one stayed in for almost a month!! At the time I hated it, but I am glad that I had no issues with seromas through my recovery.

How much are you draining in each?

I didn't have the tightening because I didn't need it after all. The muscles were fine.

When I went in for the drains to removed I was draining
