Am I Crazy? Booked for Eyelid/Brow Surgery
Droopy eyelids can interfere with eyesight as we get older. I know a lot of people who have had that done and it was covered by insurance. I plan on having it done when I am older.
If you want to do it, you should do it. Happy healing!!

I have a high deductible on my insurance so the uppers with my discount are actually going to be less than the deductible.

I thought you looked fabulous at the OH conference with your current lids and brow, but as someone who also thinks about getting my drooping upper lids done someday, I don't think you're crazy. A friend of mine had hers done and while she looked like a crime victim for a few weeks, the results long term have been great. Very subtle, but refreshed (which I think should be the goal of any facial plastic surgery).
Thanks! I agree that I just want to look refreshed (I don't want anyone to be able to know for sure). When I had my lower facelift everyone attributed the improvement to changes after weight loss. I figured the timing of this would make people think that retirement providing reduced stress and more sleep made me look better. I do trust my PS, as he has proved to me that he does great work without making people look "overdone".

I will post the good, the bad and the ugly!

I'll have to second some of the responses on here; I had your procedures too and while Dermablend did hide the bruises my swelling was BAD. I lied and told my co-workers I'd had my deviated septum fixed (how original right??), but I'll tell ya - one colleague just kept staring at me - "I'll never get surgery if this is what happens" - tact obviously not being his number one quality.
So if you can figure out a way to either a) lie convincingly, b) avoid everyone entirely, or c) tell the truth, I'd say go for it!

Well you look great! Yes, I'm going to do it. I'll just have to hope that I don't look too scary at Christmas (11 days Post-op).
