Plan on having this done in the Spring. Wondering if anyone has their thoughts to share on not having implants? Are you pleased and comfy? Just figure I'll be 60 when I have it done and wondering how anyone faired with going this route.

Thanks.

Joanne

I recently had mastopexy with no implants. If you have enough material to work with that you need a breast reduction in addition to lift, I'm not sure why you'd consider implants any way?

Here are my breasts pre and post-mastopexy. I'm SUPER thrilled with the results. https://www.instagram.com/p/BaLKlFGHbsL/

I'm glad I don't need to worry about my body reacting to the implants and that I don't need to worry about whether or not I'll be able to afford getting them redone every 10-20 years.

I went from being a 36DD (and super droopy) to a 32D. My surgeon told me to expect a C, so I am totally thrilled to be a D!

my surgeon said it's a reduction and lift. i'd be thrilled to be a b cup and was just wondering. told him i want them small and low maintenance (right now they're 36d longs ). yours look super! this is going to read as so dumb to ask but are they firm? i long for the day to NOT wear a bra anymore! psssst . . . . i'm at work and couldn't resist checking in) . . . another dumb question . . . you were 36 and went to a 32 after surgery?

That seems like weird wording to me, since I thought a reduction = reduction of breast mass and a lift = removal of skin.

My breasts are super firm, my partner actually commented on that last night. I don't need to wear a bra, although I do. I can't find any solid information about whether wearing a bra is healthier or not, so I wear one.

So it's funny. My measurements pre-op were 31 bust, 36 chest. And post-op they were exactly the same. However, I went from a 36DD to a 32D because I don't have to squish all that extra breast mass into the bra anymore. Go figure. So now I'm wearing bras that match my measurements. And before I had to wear bras that matched my body.

all i know is i cannot wait. if i wasn't such a weirdo . . . i would have done the tt and breast reduction together (and it wouldn't have cost as much), but he prefers doing multiple procedures in the hospital (and i work there and know many people plus it's a ride from home) and single procedures at the surgicenter (very close to my home).

legs can't be done but dying to read and see you results (i have horrid lymphatic drainage probs with lower bod ~ knee surgery in 2004 was a nightmare).

I also had a lift only but do have to wear a bra. I do not have any upper pole fullness, but in a bra I look like I do. I am super happy with my breast lift.

Thank you Laura :). Not used to how these threads go and missed your reply. Called my doc and it's a reduction I'll be having. I misunderstood, as he said a reduction for me would lift my breasts and since I prefer small, they'd naturally be lifted. . . . .

A reduction includes the lift. It just means they are removing fat, also. Both remove skin to lift the breasts.

The fact that you mentioned yours are droopy means they may not be full on top even after the lift, which was why I mentioned my results. If you search "upper pole fullness" you may see examples of what I am referring to. If I remember when I get home I will send one of my pictures.
