How to pick?!
I've got hit my goal and promised if my skin could smooth in a size 7 Jr skinny jeans I'd let myself get plastics....well I MADE IT! and not even smooshed yay...so now the hard part. I met with 2 Drs and they had different opinions one was a better overall experience and was super thourogh but that doesn't mean I would have less attractive results from the other. Dr Stephen Robinson from the plastic surgery group agreed after trying on 20 boobies I look best at a dd 450cc which is what I was pre fat person as well. He spent a long time showing me pics of 1 month scars 6 m 1 yr and so on. He was clear and specific down time restrictions healing complications the whole bit. Even took pics of me. He said i need mega thigh lift and extended tt but not a lbl which was great news. Lipo free with procedures. He is willing to do thighs and tt in one and boobs with arms in the other total almost 33k. Dr Daniel kuy is opinion 2 he fought me on implants but I'd be a tiny b cup with none. If I'm gonna lift these puppies may as well fill em back up hehe. He never even showed me an implant or duscussed scars on breasts. He asked if i wanted saline or silicone never showed me either and we tried none on and says he usually puts the size that just looks rite in after he lifts during the procedure. No way jose. He will do all but thighs in one surgery wgich is helpful. he said thighs pull down and tt pulls up so could disfigured my hooha and so he doesn't do tt with thighs and though won t generally to tt with the arm and boobs he will because those are faster recovery than the tummy. He is 3k less expensive and does have great reviews but was rather meh in meeting. Very vague and had i not researched and met with another Dr already I'd not know what to expect. Showed me no pics didn't talk about how long to recover or about a lot. He just did the pinch pull poke and gave the nurse the stuff for my quote. I don't want to pick based on presentation because the talent could vary from that but it's hard and so important. 3k is also a lot of money! HELP ME MAYDAY lol
Do any of these surgeons specialize in people who have lost massive amounts of weight? Did you look at before and after pictures of people who look like you do now? Why did Dr. Kuy fight you on implants? What was the logic?

both after mwl patients both have good before and after pics. Dr kuy said he thought I'd look ok without them or very small since the heavier the implant the more weight that can causing droopy later. One other thing he annoyed me about was saying he coukd skip the muscle tightening to speed recovery and I could work on my own and. Same price and he said takes 10 mins. No thanks doc...tight please. Even at 13 i wore a c cup. Dr Robinson seemed to have more of a vision for my whole shape but again not sure and it's so hard
Based on this, I wouldn't even consider Kuy. Go with the one with vision and who actually listens to you.

I'm looking into Dr. Robinson and I can't actually find anything that states he has specialized training in post-MWL reconstruction. So that's a little concerning. It seems like the same is true for Dr. Kuy. So while they might both have experience operating on us, it doesn't seem like they have any specialized training. Just something to be aware of.
I decided who to pick based on recommendations from people here in OH and then my own consult experience. I narrowed it down to two surgeons, but had a first choice. When my consult with my first choice was awesome, I didn't bother to have a consult with the second choice.

I realize that I was slightly confusing with OH = Obesity Help and OH also = Ohio! Sorry.

You can take pics from the front, side, back and other side and closeups of anything you're not sure of and email to [email protected] with Quote in the Subject line and he'll get back to you with a quote, that more than likely will be 15k less. He specializes in weight loss patients requiring major overhaul to their misshapen bodies.
