Finally home!

When I had kidney cancer surgery, I didn't want to come home, but they insisted on releasing me. I didn't feel like my pain was manageable. Turns out, once I had control of my pain med schedule, and could make sure I got it on time, instead of chasing nurses down in the hall to get it, my pain dropped significantly. I'll never again underestimate the need to get home and start on a strict med schedule when recuperating.
