New bras after breast work

I have to say - just as an FYI - that the recovery from the breast lift/reduction was surprisingly easy.

I know you are having a combo surgery so your experience is going to be different than mine - but in terms of the breasts I had virtually no pain - nothing worse than a pulled muscle.

No bruising, minimal swelling and the incisions are healing quick and neat

crossing my fingers that your experience is as good

Thanks! I'm actually expecting this surgery to be a cakewalk. At least compared to surgeries #1 and #3. Hopefully I won't be proven wrong ;)

I used those Walmart zip front bras and I need an XL and I wear a 36B. They wash and wear well - just a little shrinkage in the dryer. I had to do some surgery on the arm holes, but they have been good.

I just bought 2 new bras, I was 5 weeks post op. I should have gotten new ones a week or two before. I picked these up at my local Meijer (I don't know if you have one near you, but it's kinda like a superstore like Walmart, but less cheapo).

They are comfortable and supportive. I was worried, because I didn't actually know which size to get, so for once I tried on clothes in the store. I'm looking to be a 36D now after my lift, and I bought a size large. It fits comfortably.

I figure that once my incisions heal a little more I can switch up to something more permanent than these. I paid $14.99 for the first one, and they had a sale that was buy one get one 50% off, so that was a bonus.

These are similar to what I got at Target, post BL. https://www.target.com/p/women-s-power-shape-153-max-high-su pport-front-close-sports-bra-c9-champion-174-turquoise-32b/- /A-51902287?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=PLA _Women+Shopping_Brand&adgroup=SC_Women&LID=700000001170770pg s&network=g&device=c&location=1024922&gclid=CjwKCAjw2ZXMBRB2 EiwA2HVD-P6uJfhFUgYSRMYz_y-FtN5_xCwPvOJPD_DEnS20ewv0tOEvRTok jRoCExwQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I waited until Nov - about 4 months post-up to buy a 'real bra.' I just used these. I would stick with a few of these for several months until you are all healed and the swelling is down. A month ago, I just had a 'revision' to my BL of last year (I did not want implants and got some more fat transfer - like I was told I would need). Now, I can use the biggest post-op bra from last year, but I will prob be buying some new bras in another month. The fat transfer did its job!

Thanks! Sadly there are no Meijers near me. I wish we had them, since I love them.

Funny story - my family had a reunion in Michigan two years ago and someone different was responsible for shopping each day. On the 4th or 5th day my middle uncle went out to shop and said "we ended up shopping at some other store because we couldn't find the Meyer you guys were always talking about."

LOL :P

Also, once you find a bra that you like at dept store for $45, it will be at Target or Walmart for $15 6 months later.

I got some good deals at Bare Necessities when they run specials.
