I meant the external thing lift that is done with an extended tummy tuck or LBL. Should have been clearer.

I would love to do my abdomen and upper arms at the same tim but no surgeons in my area are willing to do it, they all said it was because of the anesthesia. If I am down to 180 by then, I am doing my arms in September and my lower body as soon after that as recovery allows.

Ah, yes. Lateral thigh lift is often included with LBL. Medial thigh lift is a totally different beast. :)

("Thing Lift" made me giggle.)

Combining procedures does save money.... but those are two I wouldn't combine. I needed my arms to be strong so I could lift and move myself after the thigh lift.

I routinely have combined arms and leg surgery for the past 15 years. I like to preserve the core muscles for mobility, and then leave the arms and legs alone when working on the tummy, hips, buttock, and breast.

Surgical glue as a sealant has really helped lower the infection and open spot issue on the legs, and electric lift chairs are fabulous and prevent strain on the legs.

Leg incisions depend entirely on the amount of excess skin you have and what you personally want as a result. Often, an "inseam" incision and one in the bikini or groin crease are needed.
