Belly button

You know.. I was worried about the cutting into the armpits and, honestly? It hasn't been a problem at all. I put pantyliners (doubled back to back) at the actual armpit and that reduces any chaffing I might have. So it's actually been fine. But I was worried about the "cutting" into the armpits too. They're actually.... comfortable. Although my cubital fossa (anterior side of elbow) gets itchy, which is weird. But I spray anti-itch spray on the garment and that relieves the itch. Yay.

The company my garments come from does do the straps for bottom garments I think! Mine have a HUGE wide compression band and ZERO rolling. I totally know what you mean about fear of things rolling down. But it hasn't been a problem at all. They're kind of totally amazing :)

I wonder if I'll have a garment like yours for my breast/upper body lift. But maybe without the arms. Aaaah, the unknown is so unknown!

If I could interject, this is the garment I used and it worked really well. My PS recommended it. The Curalux rep is out of Vancouver and can order the item in for you. I think she usually only stocks the above-knee item but you can check with her directly.

If you want to go direct to the vendor in Texas (which I did and it was about $40 cheaper even with shipping and the conversion from USD to CAD) here's the info:

Good luck.

I was reminded of this comment today and wanted to find it. Apparently garments will roll down when they're no longer that compressive because they're not being filled up and pulled tight anymore.

This comment is brought to you by having lost 15 pounds since surgery :P

I just looked back through my old ps pictures and for me, by the 3 week mark mine looked pretty good as far as healing goes but it too****il about the 5 month mark for the redness to subside and for it to look "normal".

Thanks! I think mine is looking a little better every day. We'll see how it looks today once I shower in an hour or so!

So, I do have a new belly button and I LOVE it! I didn't have any oozing, but it was red for a few days. I was told after 3 weeks to start rubbing around my incision and my belly button. This helped the healing process. Maybe leaving it uncovered, it might heal faster. I need to post pictures.

Update: I sent a picture of my belly button to my doc's office today and was told to lay off the bacitracin for now. So that's what I'll do!
