Finally another year has passed and I love the results of the lower body lift. Now I am in the second phase of my transformation with brachioplasty, breast lift, flankoplasty and vertical torsoplasty.

How long were you able to return to regular activity?

I had an LBL, arm and breast lift with Dr Capella

1 1/2 yrs ago and I'm very happy,

LOVE HIM, LOVE HIS STAFF!!!

that being said, it took my quite a while to

return to any semblance of normal (4weeks)

and the anistesia KICKED MY A$$!!

I was feeling back to totally normal by 8weeks.

What is a flankoplasty and a vertical torsoplasty? It's so confusing how different surgeons use different terms for things!

I believe torsoplasty is another term for the upper body lift. I thought flankplasty is part of the lower body lift, but the OP already had that, so I am also confused.

By the time you will have had your breasts and arms done you will have had had the equivalent of Dr Capella's flankyoplasty.... having had a consult with him I don't see what he does in the end is any different than what dr. Michaels does in the end he just does label it

Can't speak for the other procedure, when I had The consult Dr Capella never mentioned that to me as me needing that

Flanko plasty is the back and bra skin. It extends past the arm pit and will be removed with the brachioplasty. I have a lot of upper abdominal skin and Dr. Capella doesn't believe in flore di lis procedure when performing either a tummy tuck or LBL. This is the vertical incision down your abdomen. Instead he performs torsoplasty which will be incisions along the side and pulls the abdomen skin.

Ah, gotcha. I think these are what I know as a lower body lift and an upper body lift!
