I am able to have insurance cover pani. removal with proper documentation. I have 7 months of pictures so far and the surgeon notes the continued skin breakdown at each visit.

My question is for those who have had this done, how do you like your results? Did you get the dog ears at the hip area? Did you have the fleur-de-lis incision or just the bikini cut. I don't expect to have a flat, tight abdomen. I'm almost 60 and have had children, so even without having been MO I'd have a droopy belly. The pain, burning and bleeding of the skin under the abdominal apron HAS to be taken care of!! My surgeon says after the year mark, he will OK it.

Just a panni may be ok if your loose skin is below your bellybutton. As a panni is just kin removal and your bellybutton hangs low you can lose it. If you have excess skin above you may want to look at fleur de lys. Another option with just pannis is to ask for bellybutton to be moved. If you have a lot of excess to back/bottom you my have dog ears. Ask about revision and if included in price.
