I am interested in Plastic Surgery with Dr. Sauceda. I wanted to know if he has an office in Tyler, Tx? If so, does anyone know what the phone number would be?

The information here might help? http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/Dr_Sauceda_Patients/discuss ion/

It seems like emailing him directly is the way to go.

Hi, I was just looking over your stats for weight loss. Does the doctor go ahead and schedule all these dates for plastic surgery ahead of time? Is there a waiting period after weight loss before you can have the TT, Breast Augmentation Surgeries? Thanks.

My surgeon likes to do surgeries no closer than 2-3 months apart to allow for recovery time in between. Because of the way my life is, I wanted to get all my surgery dates on my calendar as soon as possible so that I could register for classes around the dates and recovery blackouts. I think most people probably schedule one surgery at a time.

As for the waiting period, I believe that varies from person to person and surgeon to surgeon. Ideally, I'd have liked to have lost about 10 more pounds and stayed there for a year before pursuing plastic surgery, but things happened and plans changed, and it is what it is.

I often see the recommendation of "maintain at goal for a year" but I think part of that is to ensure that the person CAN maintain their weight before they go for plastic surgery. My weight history demonstrates that I'm able to maintain, so I'm not too worried.

But, yes, a lot of these things depend on your surgeon. If you've got an insurance plan that covers plastics post-weight loss, it might depend on the insurance plan as well. (My insurance excludes plastic surgery. Full stop. So I don't have to take any insurance rules into account.)

I wasn't at goal, but had been weight stable for 2 yrs. Generally, Dr Sauceda likes you to be 6 months stable. But, he'll also recommend if he feels you'd get better results by dropping more pounds. You can email him with pics from the front, side, back, side and sent with quote in the subject to [email protected]

His only office is in Monterrey Mexico. He was in Tyler, Texas for consults in 2015, and will be in Chicago in June. See information on his group here on OH. Click on Dr Sauceda in my siggy line.
