Hi Everyone! I'm scheduled for a LBL and arm lift with Dr. Michaels in Bethesda, Md. Has anyone used him?

lots of people have - check with NYMom, DCGirl, or Gwen (although I don't think Gwen has had her surgery yet). He's supposedly one of the best out there.

Awesome! I'm glad to hear so many good reviews. Makes me feel much more confident in my decision! Good luck with everything. I'm still on the fence with whether or not this will be my last surgery. I just want this skin gone. Were you able to get insurance to cover any of it?

My insurance has a total exclusion on plastic surgery, so that was a no go.

I had arm lift and breast lift with him last summer. Love him, love his staff, love his work. I was treated wonderfully at Sibley Mem Hospital.

Make sure you do what he says to min scarring - the cream, elevate. The arm lift scars can be tough because they are long and visible.

If you do not have one, I suggest getting a elec recliner. I looked and got a cheap one on Craigslist and then steamcleaned it. You want to put as least stress on your insiscions as possible. If you have any specific questions, please ask. I have posted my tips, let me know if you cannot find them.

Here's an elec recliner for $100 (new they are close to $1000). THe back is designed popped off of mine so the back went in the back seat and the base fit in my trunk. I did not need a truck to move it, but you shoudl check.

Aww man I wish I saw this! I'm terrible at checking this forum. Speaking of which are any of you on fb? I would love to join a private group to share pictures and insight. I was in a not private plastics support group and one of my employees requested to join so I was gone so fast lol
