How soon can I...
First - surgery in three weeks! OMG yay! In three weeks I'll be knocked out and getting fixed up. I'm super excited and nervous and have started having anxiety dreams. My plan is to keep as busy as possible between now and then. I'm getting my hair hacked off today so it'll be one less thing to annoy me after my LBL and brachioplasty!
So the question. I'm having UBL and breast lift in August and just scheduled a head lump removal for three weeks after. Will I be up for going to an appointment three weeks after UBL and BL? (No augmentation, if that matters.) I can always reschedule early that week if necessary. Just wondering what I might expect.

The breast lift recovery was easy for me. I assume the UBL with it would be fairly easy, too, since it does not impede walking or bending or anything. I went to a big fancy sweet 16 party 2 weeks after my LBL/BL and I was fine.

Thanks! I feel like that would be the case for BL/UBL since it's not a place that moves around a lot. I hope. I guess I can cancel earlier in the week if I need to. But it seems like it would be feasible!

You will not want to sweat which can cause (and really did for me - BIG TIME) swelliing. At 10 days out, I went for a short stroll because I was doing well, BIG MISTAKE. Make sure you stay air condidioned and calm. After the first few days, recovery was a matter of patience. Flexing those arm muscles can cause tension and expand your scars.
I had bilat arms and brest lifts, with lipo/fat transfer from saddle thigh to breasts (no implants). Best thing I ever did. At 10 months post-op, my scars are pretty excellent. I needed the major arm lift - from 3 inch below elbow up through the armpit an 4-5 inches down the side chest wall.
I think I already posted my pre-op tips, I'll see if I can find them.
UPDATE:
Someone told me these ideas and they were great.
1-put things on your counter that you will need so you do not have to reach for anything
2-I had help bathing for the first 2 weeks. I put a folding chair in the bath and showered (I did not buy a shower chair for such a short term need)
3 - I used the front zip bras - Walmart $12-13 bucks each.
My ideas:
1- I had the extended arm lift - from 3 inches below elbow up into the arm-pit (all underarm hair follicles were removed, and down my chest wall for 4-5 inches, and bilateral breast lift. I could not bend my elbows to eat for several days. I got some bar-be-que forks and log handled wooden spoons so I did not need to be fed.
2 I suggest investing in a second set of arm compresssion sleeves - I still wear mine a few days a week, so the second set was good. Marena and some of the other companies have good sales.
3- I had to sleep sitting up and I LOVE my electric recliner.
Good luck - I am so glad I had this done.
