Silicone Scar Sheets?

I did some searching and couldn't find much definitive about the value of these. My PS recommmended I use silicone scar sheets on my TT scar (3 months post-op). I bought ScarAway, which seems to be a good product (sticks well and washes well).

For those who used these: How many hours do you wear them a day (I have been keeping them on all day, washing them in the shower then putting fresh dry ones on after the shower)? And for how many weeks/months did you use them?

I am using it on my eye lids. The surgeon told me that massaging it into the scar by stroking it gently in one direction is what really reduces the thickness of the scar. The silicone does trap moisture and softens the scar. I use it three times a day but I just started so don't know if it's helping. Dr said to give it a month so I will.

My PS recommends Cica Care sheets. You need to use them 24/7 for months
