Hi, I am new here. I had a VSG in Feb 2014. I am considering skin removal surgery with Dr. Sauceda in Mexico. From what I can see, he is highly recommended. In fact, so far, I haven't seen one negative (or semi-negative) comment about him. Can anyone share their experience and before and after pictures? I would also like to see any pictures you may have of your scars once they healed. My husband is also considering skin removal surgery, so if there are any guys out there who have been to Dr. Sauceda, please comment and post your pics as well. Thanks

I would suggest that you go for a consult. I did this back in 2015. The do schedule meet and greets and i was able to fly into Texas for the consult. I decided not to use him and take my own path which means do a little bit at a time with an American Plastic surgeon. I am glad I did. I have the lower body lift last June. You cannot put a price on having a US doctor should something go wrong. I couldn't have been more pleased with Dr. Capella's work and I am having the upper body done on June 28

The meet and greet for Dr Sauceda will be in Chicago June 24th and 25th. You can also take pics and send to [email protected] and he'll get back to you with a quote. Let me know if you need any more info about the consults in Chicago.

I've been in his operating room 3x. 1/13/11 for LBL, BL, arms, sm thigh, 1/17/11 for neck / face lift including upper and lower lids. Went back 1/21/13 for my upper body lift. The after care was better than any surgeries that I've had in the states. I liked being in the clinic with 24/7 RNs. Once, I was at the hotel, Paty, Dr Sauceda's RN, comes by daily to help you with your shower, drains and getting back into the compression garments. She also removes stitches and pulls drains if ready.

I was only going to be able to have extended leave once, so wanted it all done at one time. It worked for me and I'm very happy with all my results.

Hello, so good to read your response. I am also considering him but had not seen posts on him lately. I will want the complete upper body lift and a pubic mound lift. Can I ask what it cost you and why you did not get it all done at once. I also do not feel getting it done all at once is the best idea for me. The upper body lift is my most important want.

Thank you ,

Tammy

How long were you out with your extended leave from the multiple procedures?

Thank you.

I took off 8 weeks for the LBL, BL, arms, sm thigh lift and 4 days later a full face lift including upper and lower lids - just not a brow lift. I was almost 59 so I figured I needed more time to heal. I had no problems. It was easier than my DS and less painful. Work wouldn't allow me to take off 2-3 weeks several times to get my PS done. One chunk of 8 weeks worked great.

I did go back for an upper body lift 2 yrs later, and took off 3 weeks. Which was fine.

ETA: I did bump up my protein both times before and after surgery to 150-200g before and for 3-4 months after PS.
