Plastic surgery help

I am 7 years out from my gastric bypass. Lost 135 lbs and have maintained within 10 lbs all this time. I have finally decided to have my TT to remove the excess skin. Setting my surgery date tomorrow!! Yay!! My surgeon discussed the 360 lower body lift and the TT. He thinks that I would be more proud of my results with the 360 but my only intent was to do the TT. What did you have done? What were your recovery times? Any regrets with either surgery?

If you are unhappy with the outcome of the TT

you can always revise to the LBL..

I guess so. My husband says I get one shot at this so get it right! I think that means I better make the right decision.?

Ha....My husband said the same thing and now that he has seen my results not only can I not keep him off me but he is all supportive if I want to get a thigh lift and BBL (I no longer have a rear at all).

If you do not have one, I suggest looking for an elec recliner on craigslist, etc. It was the best investment EVER!!!! You do not want to put one more oz of stress on your sutures than ab necessary. Stress can lead to more noticable scars. My chair stands me up, so I just walk out of it. I can adjust it a hundred different positions, so no sore spots from sitting in the same 3 positions. THE BEST!!!!!!!!

See now that was MY saying, 1 and done!

I knew I would not go under a second time,

got the works, hubby would have enjoyed

and augmentation w/the lift but it wasn't an option,

and to tell the truth after a lifetime of being objectified

for big, bouncy boobs, smaller, firmer, and lifted was just fine with me!!!

My take in situations like this is that I'm paying a person (in this case, the plastic surgeon) for their expertise. I do my research to make sure I'm choosing a person whose expertise I trust, and then I trust them.

So if my plastic surgeon told me, "You know, I think you'll be happier with the LBL results," I would say, "okay, this is what I'm paying you for."

You will pay more money and time in recovery if you do it in 2 parts.

I Agree with Gwen, you are paying for their expertise. I had several procedures, and I wasn't totally on board out of the gate with everything my Doc wanted to do. It took me a little time to come around but I let him do what he saw, and no regrets

Totally agree with posters. I considered just a TT, instead of 360, but was really afraid of the "dog ears" at the sides where the TT comes to an end. So I made the decision to go with the 360.
