Anyone have lower legs done?

I have fat deposits just above my ankles... I think it might be lipidemia but am told the only option is surgery.

This does seem to be an uncommon surgery. Anyone have this done?

Ive been curious about this too. I haven't found much on the lower leg, but I hate the way they look!

I have been on OH for almost 9 years and do not remember anyone having it done. HERE is an old post on the subject that says Dr. Agha has done them. I don't see anything on his website about it.

HERE was another post on the subject. It sounds like most plastic surgeons think it is too risky to perform this type of surgery.

Perhaps lipo might be an option for you? did you check Realself? HERE is one of the posts I found there. Sounds promising.

Thanks, Laura -

I should have been more specific in my post...I was assuming this would be a lipo procedure. I appreciate the links... saw the older posts but thought maybe someone had more recent experiences? I haven't seen Realself. Thank you!

Thinking of getting my arm scars redone one day.  I remember you from years ago. Are you happy with your scars?

I wanted to have something done with my calves, but they don't like to touch lower legs too much... muscle, blood supply etc. Mine was more loose skin that fat...

There are some treatments that are non-invasive... my PS just bought a machine called Sculpsure. I saw a presentation on it, destroys fat cells, and no down time... takes 6 weeks to see results. Good for those areas where surgery would be difficult... I am sure if you click the link in my signature he must have something on his website about it...
