Does everything drop in time as you wait to get PS done?

Had my VSG July 24, 2015.  Planned and paying off PS to be done September 2017.  Weight hasn't changed but my body sure is. Seems like everything is settling in lower (my loose pants at the same weight are tighter in the thighs and the butt is going flat).  Is this what happens normally?  Hoping I can stand waiting for the PS, but cannot do it sooner, either $$-wise or time-off wise.

Things do seem to redistribute some as our bodies get used to our new weight especially the first few years. I am 8 years out and for some reason things are still shifting somewhat even though my weight remains relatively stable.

I know for me it has..

never had much of anything except a big ol pregnant looking stomach..

after VSG my legs looked like 2 sticks with that space between my thighs,

I have to say I loved it...

my legs have gotten fuller, no more space, which is odd for me,

never had weight in my legs...still looks good, more athletic looking...

But I have to say I liked that space...

it's just so weird . . . the shifting . . . . was wearing small scrub bottoms to work but they're not comfy now, so i wear medium again and they're too big but i prefer comfort.  scrubs tops are still small but i had to sew up part of the front so bending over doesn't give a view.  can't wait to get the belly lumps and bumps removed . . . .

Your body can shift even after plastic surgery. I am 58... old beat up skin. That is why it is important to go to someone who is well versed in people with massive weight loss. I always say the quantity and the quality of our skin is different...and a challenge. After my Lower Body Lift- 360 my butt looked great then kinda fell within 3 months, so when I had my legs done, he revised it...now it is good....and seems to be holding.

thank you soooooooooo much for your reply.  i'm only going to get a tt.  my breasts, arms butt and legs look like crap but (1) i don't have the money (2) i don't have the time to take off from work, (3)i'm a chicken when it comes to pain and (4) no one will be seeing me sans clothing except hubby and doc (and one loves me as is and the other gets paid in the event i need him).  it just really bugs me that as time goes by and things are shifting, at less weight i now need to wear baggy medium scrub bottoms after having been comfy in the summer wearing small.
