Funny.  I had asked her the same question. I am officially claiming 152.5, which is half of my starting weight, but I hit 150 from time to time. I would like to get to 145 or so too, but not sure what is realistic. Since the doctors all consider losing 60% of your excess weight a success, I have far exceeded that. However, my definition of success is quite different. I am 5' 7" (used to be 5' 8").

Me too! I'm 5'6, used to be 5'7, and I'm right around 153-155. I did get to 139 once and I'm trying to get back there. I'm consistently a small or medium so I'm comfortable that way. Can't wait for plastics so I'm completely comfortable in my skin!

Looks awesome, and good for you for having so much done at once.... Isn't it amazing when they are just taking off skin and it makes so much difference? I remember the forms I had to sign always said possible LIPO just in case he felt he needed it.... but when I asked after - He was like 'Nope it was all skin" The first time I met him and he was poking around my skin and said to me "You are really skinny" is engraved in my mind forever- as I had never heard those words before in my life.....

Heal well... give yourself as much rest as you can....

That's funny I had a massage therapist tell me a few weeks ago, "You are kind of bony."  What?  I don't think I was ever called that before in my life. (we were discussing how to get rid of some knots, so she wasn't trying to be offensive, just describing how it is harder when there isn't a lot of fat/tissue).  I had thought I wanted to do lipo, but it is pretty spendy to add lipo to an already expensive surgery.  Not sure what I will do.

For Dr. Michaels it wasn't an add-on money wise...., it was just about whether he felt he wanted to do it at the time to get the right contouring/effect he was looking for... So signing the medical release was for his Type A perfectionist personality....

I don't know about you.... but when I got the you are really skinny comment....I wanted to look behind my shoulder like- Is there someone else he is talking to? I kept getting in my head the famous line..."Watcha talking about, Willis?"

That's funny. Dr. LoMonaco had me sign off for lipo the day of my surgery. I panicked for a minute because I did not want lipo, but I did sign off in case he thought I needed it (I trusted his judgement). I didn't need it, either.

Forgive me for saying this but I think lipo of the empty ( but hungry hormone producing) fat cells is hugely important for most of us

Thanks for the update Elizabeth!  Im glad to hear you are doing well.

I'm having a TT and mini face-lift in early January and hoping to return to work (working from home) at about 12 days post-op.  Sounds like it might be possible. The surgeon also told me it would be all skin (not much fat left).
