Arm Lift - Scar Revision - Halo Laser

Just wanted to share my experience... in 2014 I had an arm lift, 2015 scar revision... after the scar revision I had numerous rounds of steroid injects coupled with scar massage. The revision/steroids/massage gave me a 90% improvement in one arm and about a 75% improvement in the other arm. The "worse" of the two arms had some thickening of the scar as well as redness. In Sept I had a round of Halo laser on both arms... while I still need to wait for the "full" effect of the laser.... the improvement within two weeks was astounding. My 90% arm is now 99.9%.. the scar has thinned out and in the majority of spots is an extremely thin white line... the 75% arm is not at about 90%.. the majority of the scar is now flat and starting to thin/lighten.. the thickest most raised part has softened, thinned up and is not as raised... I am looking forward to seeing how it looks in the future. I have a small feeling at this point I may need a little more laser on the portion of the arm that was the worst. I also had the halo on my neck to tighten up skin... I previously had the YAG laser and didn't see much of a result... the neck area takes longer to see the result, so I am looking at 6-9 moths out for that.

I am definitely impressed with the improvement from the Halo. I wi**** was available after the original arm lift. I was at the surgeon's office about 2.5 hours total... had to be slathered with numbing cream first, then wait about 20-30 minutes. The laser treatment was 10-15 minutes per arm... it was slightly uncomfortable at times and there is the course the funky smell... the neck was WAY worse than the arms... because of the nerve damage in the arms I didn't feel much... neck felt like I was FIRE... I was ready to punch the lady. The neck treatment was less than 10 minutes. The burning/fire feeling lasted 20-30 minutes. I had no down time... my skin peeled some and the arms looked yucky ****pt them covered) but in under two weeks you would never know I had anything.

As a side note I have not had any issues with scars previously... just the arms, but its a tough area. Overall it was completely worth it, I am very happy with how my arms look and the scar laser was more for me than anything... everybody else said they were "fine". If I already spent the money to get the lift, what's a little more to get the result I want :-)

They gave me 1/2 off since I had the original surgery/revision with them. For both arms and the neck area it was $1200.
