Biggest things are making sure you are taking your vitamins and your protein levels are up...
My surgeon is huge on 100g protein a day one month pre-surgery and at least one month post surgery..
Protein drinks and bars are OK but you need real food too....
keep it simple- eggs, Greek yogurt- you can stir in extra protein powder... Cold cuts, tuna, jerky... Whatever you need to get the protein in...

My PS wants his patients to be at 100 gms of protein for a month before and after surgery to promote healing. I did not have the TT, but use the SEARCH function because it is not an easy recovery. Get an electric recliner that stands you up!!!
