Saw the doc today and she removed the steri-strips - she was surprised they hadn't fallen off on their own. Very easy, no pain and no evidence of wound separation. She said by 6 weeks out the incision will be as healed and strong as it's going to be so I can resume all regular activities at a progressive pace. So, another 10 days until 6 wk mark and I'll be raring to go (I'm very cautious).

I think dr is pretty much correct about things being healed at 6 weeks - except I'm not sure about the points of high stress - they may take a little longer to toughen up because it's almost impossible not to stretch them accidently too soon.

I am very cautious also - I did not spend all this money to have crappy scars when I could have waited a little bit longer and have great looking scars.
