I have an appointment to see Dr. Capella on Wednesday. I discovered a hard lump near the scars on my breast.

Of course I'm hoping this is to do with the breast lift etc., I had done Jan 25, 2016, but also worried that it is something else. Worse.

Has anyone had hard lumps near the new areola? Just dreading whatever tests and remedies are upcoming. I cannot imagine they will be painless :-(

Thanks!

It could be just a blocked duct. If a. Cyst they can just aspirare with needle.

Lumps that feel harder or different from the rest of the breast (or the other breast) or that feel like a change are a concern and should be checked. This type of lump may be a sign of breast cancer or a benign breast condition (such as a cyst or fibroadenoma).
