Panni removal date

i have been approved for pannis removal, date sept 23 which is fast approaching. No cosmetic processes. 

Since no muscle cutting it stretching involved I am thinking it won't be as painful as full procedure. 

Many have said that with the abdominal surgery the restriction returns to similar state as early post op wls. Is this your experience with Panni removal? 

Please share your experiences with me, and any recovery pointers

Stomach capacity restriction 

The pannus removal has nothing to do with pouch size. During healing phase many have decreased appetite but it will return. Have had multiple plastic procedures. 5 days post medial thigh lift. 

I think that the restriction happens when you have the muscle tightening. I know that after my full LBL everything felt super tight so I wasn't eating as much. Not from the pouch feeling small but from the tight feeling of my abs. It went away within a few weeks.

I think you will naturally lose a few pounds just because it is post-surgery and you don't feel like eating, I did. I had my LBL 3 months ago with muscle tightening...and I feel like my restriction is the same...big pouch days and small pouch days :)

Hi there!  I too have an upcoming panni surgery as well as breast reduction and lift the same day.  Mine is scheduled for Aug 30th and i'm starting to get excited as well as nervous.

I was 326 at my heaviest and am now 250, so I am still a big girl, but have stayed the same for over a year.
