plastic surgery pricing?

I had my first consult yesterday for a breast lift/implants and tummy tuck.  It was over $17,000!  I liked the doctor and will get another consult but I'm curious about how much others are paying.  I live in South Jersey and I know location makes a big difference in the prices of anything.  My doctor will adjust his price if I get a better quote, so I'd love to know the names of inexpensive doctors even if I don't want them to do the surgery!! 

Honestly that doesn't sound like a bad price to me. Make sure the quotes include expected hospital and anesthesia fees. Getting implants does increase the cost of getting your breasts done.... I think it is good to get more than one consultation... One thing I found, (I had 5) is each Doc has a little different take on how they do the surgery and what they emphasize... even though you are talking the same surgery...

I had LBL, BL, arms, sm thigh and a full facelift including upper and lower lids for a bit over that.  I did go to Mexico and Dr Sauceda.  I had one recovery time, I was off 8 weeks.

Found it on placidway, one of the centers offering Breast Lift and Tummy Tuck Package in Thailand cost $9,255

I am paying almost $11K for a Fluer de lis tummy tuck and Breast Lift, Dr. Cori Agarwal at the University of Utah. I looked into Mexico and other places but at the end with travel and hotels, I wouldn't have saved that much. I feel after seeing a few other surgeons, this one is the right one for me.

If you cost is over 7k, Dr Sauceda pays for your hotel, and up to $600 of your airfare.  You can take pics and email to [email protected] and put quote as the subject and he'll get back to you with a quote.  Take pics from the front, side, back, and other side.  Close ups of specific areas, like face too.

Dr Capella in North Jersey does many postWLS plastics - he's in Ramsey, NJ (North Jersey).  Several OHers have used and recommend him.  I did a UBL consult with him and would have him do the surgery, but I have to delay for a year because of shoulder surgery.   He operates at Hackensack, NJ.

Can I ask what you were having done and what he quoted you?

I paid $5,900.00 total for saline submuscular breast implants put in by Dr.Branson in fayetteville (central) NY. I did not have a lift done. That was in Feb. 2004. It was well worth the price as my chest had totally deflated by 16 months post op.
