Did anyone do an arm lift by itself? Curious about costs...

I paid $3700 (including overnight stay) but I used a resident at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.  The doc I used was already a hand surgeon and was doing his last month of plastic surgery residency (in fact I was his last surgery).

Come keep it real in R&R 3.0 Want an invite? PM me here.

Good Morning I had brachioplasty in March of this year and lipo in Toronto Ontario.  Cost was 7500$ and let me tell you it is the best thing I could have done.  I am getting panni/tummy tuck and hernia repair Sept.4th.  Good luck.  Also my PS uses no drains for any of his surgeries.

I'm from Toronto also. If you don't mind me asking, who is your plastic surgeon?

I did just my arms, but it was 6 years ago. I paid $3900. Surgery was a few hours. I think I was at the surgery center around 5 hours total. The first 3 days were bad, but I was wrapped tight like a mummy. Day 3 I was unwrapped and felt human again. By day 10 I felt well enough to go to work but I had taken off another week so I just stayed home.

Your arms are my standard of excellence!  Seriously, whenever I see your arms in pics I am so madly envious!  I would welcome any advice for questions that I may want to ask the doctor.  I am mostly concerned about scar placement.  I have read that rather than be in the back of the arm, it should be between the two muscles.  I have an appointment with my surgeon in two weeks.  I cannot wait to not have bat wings.  I feel like this is my final step in this journey!

Recovery of the Arm-lift surgery depends on surgery type and the extent of surgical procedure. If you have had major weight loss and are having a brachioplasty with an elbow to armpit incision, then you need more time. Yes, the surgery is not as painful, but the scar is long, and the final result can be somewhat unpredictable. Most of the patients need about 2-3 days of recovery and are back at work as long as it is a desk job at about 3-5 days. Arm movement at the shoulder is restricted for the first 4 weeks.

I know quite a few people who have had their arms done and NO ONE was ready to go back to work in 3-5 days. 10-14 days seems to be the norm from personal observation.
