Pic from eight weeks post-op LBL and BL

I just might be the happiest person alive - I am eight weeks post-op from a lower body lift and breast lift by the amazing Dr. Josepsh Michaels (DC/Northern Virginia/MD) and I am on a work trip in Orlando...yesterday, I WORE A BIKINI!  I just had to share in case someone is considering an LBL and BL - it was the best gift I ever gave to myself!  From 351 lbs the day of my RNY to 154 lbs now, I am living life like never before.  It is still a daily struggle - I don't feel "cured" or "done" with being vigilant by any means - so I consider to weigh and track my food, and exercise six days a week.  I will do whatever I can to maintain this new bod, and so appreciate your support here on OH!  :)

So awesome! I can't wait to get some work done so that I can finally feel like a NORMAL person on the outside!

I hear ya!  I was definitely not happy with my saggy body after losing all that weight and I feel much more like I am meant to be :)  Good luck!

You look amazing. I forget how long my surgeon said to keep my incisions out of the sun, but I did not let my belly button in the sun until a year post-op. I did not want my scar to darken.

Thanks, Laura :)  I forget that my belly button was even moved or has a scar - it looks so normal!  Thanks for the reminder.  I am going to make sure to keep it heavily slathered with high SPF.

Now I just can't wait to do my arms! 

Congrats you look awesome!  I'm having a medial thigh lift on 13-Jun...looking forward to it, but not the recovery :(

Please post before and afters - I love seeing the transformation!  I am going to live with my saggy thighs, I think.  I just want to do my arms and then call it a day.  For a while at least :)

You are right - 7 weeks from today!  Nervous, excited, scared...all those emotions.
