Can anything be done to remediate the tailbone pain if all the plastic surgery has already been performed? I have discomfort with hard surfaces.

I have performed tailbone removal, called ****ygectomy, in select patients who have a visibly protruding bone or significant pain. The operation itself is a good 6 weeks of discomfort and needs to be carefully considered.  Having broken my tailbone at age 12, 40 years later I still have occasional pain when sitting a certain way or on the wrong surface.

ah, thank you. the discomfort that I have on hard surfaces would not warrant a surgery of this nature. i recall when i lost weight as a teen, going from obese to thin, that my tailbone was sensitive to hard surfaces back then, as well.
