Is it too early for a BL and BA?

I'm hoping to get some feedback on how long everyone waited to get a BL and BA done.

I have read over and over again about waiting at least 6 months after the weight loss stops, but am wondering if that applies to all plastics. Makes perfect sense for LBL, but is it necessary for doing the girls?

Not sure if it makes a difference, but I am just over a year out from surgery and have already surpassed by goal weight but 27 pounds so I'm in the maintenance phase.

I would not put that much money and recovery time and pain into something that might change. If you lose more they may sag more -- so I would wait until I was stable for 6 months. My girls kept on deflating....

My plastic surgeon wanted me at my goal weight for one year before he would do the surgery.

Mine just cared that I was done losing.  Each surgeon is different and with the BL and BA you have to keep in mind that it will need to be redone about 10 year later too.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
