Arm and breast lift scars

I had my surgery with Dr. Goldberg at Fairoaks Inova near Washington, D.C.. four weeks ago and am very happy.  No problems with recovery or incision opening.  I am still dealing with swelling and will be happy to see that go away eventually.

 My question is about the scars.  I first tried Scar Away but that irritated my scars so they recommended the silicone strips.  Has anyone experienced more success with the strips vs. the gel?

I could not get the strips to stay on my arms. I use them on my tummy tuck scars.

I use the silicone gel on my arms.
