4 years ago had roux en y now plastic work
i had lost 128 lbs and range now 188-196. I am 61. My abdominal flap each year was hanging lower. On 1/27/15 I had a tummy tuck breast lift and augmentation with 300 cc silicone implants. 2 board certified plastic surgeons worked on me simultaneously to keep my anesthesia time down to 3 hrs. Surgery was at 6 am and by noon I was home in my powere lift recliner. I have 3 drains in. Pain managed well with htdrocodone and flexeril. I am in an abdominal binder and surgical bra. Already it is a miracle to look down and see my upper thighs. My mons had a big bubble of fat and that was fixed too. Even if you are older like me fix your body if you can but make sure you go to only a board certified plastic surgeon with the "O" symbol. The other boards are not as rigorous in their training requirements. My general anesthesia was also administered by a board certified MD in anesthesia NOT A CRNA. I was a size 14 preop I am anxious to see what I am post op. My surgery was not covered by United Health Care and was around $12,000.
