how long do you wait before having plastics?
I'll be waiting until I've been at goal for 2 years since I want to make sure it's maintainable and that skin can continue to change for that long. I don't want to pay for a surgery that I might not have needed.

I hit goal in April - had surgery in August. It was fast but I consulted with several surgeons that agreed it was all skin and didn't think I would go any lower. I am having round 2 in 2 weeks.
Most surgeons will ask that you wait 6 months at least. Some end up needing revisions if it's done too soon. The skin tightens within that 6 months and plastids makes it good, but those that do it earlier end up having sagginess. Not everyone but more than you think and that's the reason, surgeons ask to wait 6 months or more.
Lost 271lbs with my LapBand in 22 months! My Band malfunctioned and I gained almost 42lbs and then revised to the Sleeve 9/24/12! I lost another 140 lbs with my Sleeve! Loved the LapBand and Lovin' The Sleeve!
I maintained for a year first. There was no way my skin was going to bounce back or even have much of an improvement without plastics.
