I have been approved OHIP for skin removal on my tummy! just waiting now... Ive lost half of my body weight and just currently lost 10 more lbs all in my boobs. My question is what would the additional cost would be for breast augmentation in eastern Ontario. Just waiting to hear back from my surgeon but looking for feedback from here :) thanks

I wake up every day with the realization that this is it, that there's only one shot at this life and I can either enjoy the ride and live it to its fullest and to my highest potential or I can stay the way I am.

Throwing in a breast augmentation and not just the lift cost me an extra $3,000.

The quote I received this month for mastopexy (breast lift) AND augmentation is $10,265.00  That quote includes HST.

I am in Ottawa.

I actually just went in for a follow up and asked for a quote and was told $9000 without implants, $11000 with implants. Good to know the prices in Ottawa are about the same.

The price we have to pay in Canada is absolutely absurd!

My daughter had a tummy tuck done in Alberta, paid for by heath care, but they would only do the front...to do an extended tummy tuck, they wanted an additional $10,000!!!

I had a tummy tuck, breast augmentation with implants, butt lift and lipo done in Mexico for the same price!

Remember that OHIP doesn't cover a tummy tuck, just a removal of the panni. Most people upgrade to a full tummy tuck depending on their needs.

I would post this in the Ontario forum as well as I know many people have had plastic surgery and have combination surgeries.

I don't know the price but I would think the medical costs (hospital stay, anesthesiologist, garments, nurse, etc)  would already be covered so you'd only have to pay for the time of the surgeon. My surgeon charged $3000 an hour.
