would you do it over again? the same, or with differences?
I am about 40 pounds from goal, and am considering arm lift, abdominoplasty, and possibly breast reduction. I am 59 years old and extremely fair-skinned (natural redhead), so expect the scars to be fairly visible. I would like to combine all three procedures if possible, but don't know if that is recommended.
If you were to do your plastic surgery over again, would you do anything different? Would you choose one procedure over another? Were your results worth the cost and the discomfort? Is there anything I should be particularly aware of?
(edited to add comment about combining procedures)
Each surgeon is different as well as the patient. Sure I would have loved to do my batwings at the same time as my tummy tuck, but my surgeon preferred to do them separate. I am good with that.
I know a gal here *****cently did many plastics together. But, its what her surgeon was comfortable doing all at once as well as what she could physically manage, health wise and I am sure mentally as well as financially.
Healing is tough from any plastics. I love my tummy tuck, worth every dime, can't wait to get my arms done in a couple of months. Painful, sure it was, but every day gets better.
It's totally about what you want. I wanted both my tt and arms done but I knew I would do both and choose the tt first.
Edited to add, I would absolutely wait til your at goal for a while. 40 lbs to go is I think a little too soon to have plastics done?

Oh excellent! Yes the money can be an issue. There are ways to get it covered through medical financial places as well if your interested.
Take care

Only panni's may get covered and it's only about 1700. My tummy tuck, muscle repair, lipo of flanks and mons repair with lipo was $5300. That included a $300 fee to the hospital for admin. So $5000 for my surgery. If my panni wasn't covered by Ohip it would have been an additional $1700.
I just had a breast lift-augmentation, arms, lower body lift with muscle repair and mons lipo. I am 20 days out and haven't regretted it once. My cost was $30,000 and insurance covered $4,ooo for the skin excision only. It has been a tough recovery but manageable with pain meds. My husband took two weeks off to help me too which was a blessing.
Having support is essential, even friends like Annette who posted above, was a huge help to me in sharing her experience and helping me to know what things to purchase before hand and what to expect.
The good thing about doing it at once is one operating room and anesthesia bill, off from work once and having immediate results.
The good news, for me at least, is that the muscle tightening hurts so much you don't really notice the breasts or arms as much. The mons drain hurt a good bit too in the first few days. By the time the tummy was healing more the arms then began to hurt
