Anything possible for calves?
My calves are pretty big - lots of extra skin (lost 200 lbs, yay!) I've heard that surgeons never do calves though. I'm considering a thigh lift, but I'm worried it will not be sufficient to also address the calf skin. Has anybody had any success with thigh lifts affecting calf size? Or am I just SOL for that part of the body? :/

I personally have not known anyone who has had their calves done. I found THIS old thread. Dr. Agha was mentioned.

Dr Agha was one I consulted with and he says it really is not a procedure that gives you 100% surety that you won't end up with lymphadema. The scar goes to your ankle - groin to ankle and the chance of massive swelling for the rest of my life just was not worth it. No thanks!
Lost 271lbs with my LapBand in 22 months! My Band malfunctioned and I gained almost 42lbs and then revised to the Sleeve 9/24/12! I lost another 140 lbs with my Sleeve! Loved the LapBand and Lovin' The Sleeve!

Curious as to when you spoke to Dr. Agha? The patient I saw that had it done had an "s" shaped scar on her calf that did not extend to the ankle. The scars were not very noticeable and the results were pretty good. I am still considering this surgery as after 200 pounds lost my calves are a mess.

everyone scars differently. Unless the surgeon U.S. a butcher, you will scar as your genes dictate. My concern and the one all the other surgeons discussed wasn't the scar, it was the increased chance of lymphadema following work done past the knees and elbows. I don't really care about scaring.

I can ask her. But the pictures she sent me were quite a bit out from surgery. I think lymphedema shows up pretty quickly (my sister has it secondary to cancer).

Good find! Hmm. I mean of course if it's dangerous then I'll absolutely live with what I've got (and happily). It am just sort of terrified of having like Popeye's version of calves if I get thigh surgery. Gah...
