Running post LBL +++
Hi everyone ;)
I'm about 8 weeks post LBL, small thigh lift, BL&BA. I went for my first "run" yesterday -- I kept it short and relatively slow to see how it went. I feel great :) my wind is definitely not where it was, but not horrible.
I wanted to ask other runners how it went for them? I felt like every stride my butt jiggled and it just felt a little odd on the scar line. Is this normal? Does it go away?
Has anyone tried using compression on their mid section while running? Did that help with the 'jiggle'?
Thank you!
thanks!
I have this very negative feeling towards under armor. Maybe I should get over it. But it irritated the heck out of me that they would sell my very large father clothes in his size, but a slightly overweight (or just not thin) woman -- nope!
I'm going to hit the outlets tomorrow, so maybe I will see if I can overcome that and get something a bit snugger than what I already have.
I've tried a couple, but UA was the only one that didn't make me feel weird when I was still newly postop. They just held everything together more. I just wear ON now. I didn't know that about UA. I only ever wore yoga capris & Tshirts before I got thin, and that was wherever I could get them cheapest :) Did your boobs not feel weird? My boobs still feel weird when I run, and it's been eight months. Probably the huge amount of silicone. Hahahaha
Yay!! I'm so glad you're able to run again!!

Ugh, the weird light pain/numbness at the scar line above my bum is still hanging around when I run - and I'm a little over 3 months out!!
