Face/neck lift

I’m almost 4 years out from my VSG and have had wonderful results. I’m thinking about a mild face lift/neck lift. It has more to do with my age than anything else. Does anyone have any suggestions for surgeons? I’m willing to go out of the country but not too far away.

I asked my plastic surgeon if it mattered who we got to do our faces after losing massive amounts of weight. He said for faces, we really do not need someone who has experience with bariatric patients. I would find out who the beauty queens in your area use. Seriously. They usually know the best people because most have had work done. You could also ask the person who cuts your hair. They usually know who are the best because they know all their clients "secrets"

I would recommend my surgeon, he not only is a board certified plastic surgeon but also has a specialty as a micro surgeon.  His work is simply beautiful.  Check out my page if you like to read up on Dr. Victor Gutierrez.  I traveled from Phoenix, I flew to San Diego and was picked up at the airport.  Stayed a week and flew home...I have had several surgeries, weight loss related and age too...out of all the Dr's I have used Dr G by far is the best of the best!

I had a my lower eyelids, neck, and face done at the same time (at 60) and I'm really happy I did.  One thing to consider, I recently went back and had my upper eyelids done - wish I did them at the same time as the facelift.  Seems the only place you lose fat as you age is your face - a few months after the face lift I went back and had some fat conturing which helped fill out my face.  Sorry can't help with a surgeon unless you want to come to Hawaii.
