Arm lift update, 2 weeks out - with pics!
I had an arm lift on 12/11/14 and so far I am doing great. Originally my surgeon said i would have a drain in each arm but luckily I didnt need any! I am moving around so much better than the first few days. NO PAIN at all but stiff and sore. Could hardly pull pants down to go pee! Now I am in the shower and doing my hair. Going slow still of course. No longer need to wear the arm garments he had me wear for the first 10-11 days. I can use them if I feel the need to - if I feel the swelling or stiffness after doing too much movement during the day. I have some type of surgical tape on the scars and in about 3 more weeks I will get them taken off. Overall I am so incredibly happy and cant wait until they are healed and not swollen anymore.
The pictures are from 5 days post op.
They look awesome!! I'm glad you're happy- that is so important. Like you, for financial reasons I did my arms first. Mentally that made me feel so much better. Then I worked to save for the next phase which made me feel whole again. I still need more work done, but have now made peace with my body and love it as-is.
I wish you continued happy healing!!

I am going to do the same thing. My arms were my worst ever. I felt disgusting in a way. You can hide belly flab better than hiding arms. Financially I cant do another plastics until these are paid off in 5 years but that gives me 5 years to save as much as I can - on top of everything else I have to save for LOL. But work hard 'play' hard and by play I mean plastics hahaha. Thank you!!
I too was most disgusted with my arms, I did them about 2 years ago, at that time I had a breast lift, face/neck lift and arms...I thought since I was going to be in pain might as well do as much as I could...Turns out it wasn't that great of a decision as it was three times the pain. Wise decision doing them first! I would post my arm pictures only I don't know how to do so here, but they are on my page should you want to take a look...
Great pictures!

Of course the scar fades. Right now the OP still has scabs from the incisions. My scars have definitely faded a lot. It has been 5 years since my brachioplasty and no one has ever mentioned my scars. In fact, I get lots of compliments on my arms from the "Stepford Wives" in my area who are not aware I ever had a weight problem.
If you don't want a scar, then don't get them done. For me the scar is better than the excess skin. No doubt about it. I would get them done again in a nanosecond.
